Sales of Porsche's Taycan electric sedan pull ahead of carmaker's iconic 911 for the first time

Porsche sold 28,640 Taycans in the first nine months of 2021, compared to 27,972 of the 911. Porsche expects electric vehicles to make up more than 80 percent of global sales by 2030.
